All Around the Lake Community Citizenship Award: The Boutin Family

All Around the Lake Community Citizenship Award is LKNConnect’s way of recognizing extraordinary citizens in the Lake Norman region each month. Margi Kyle, our director of non-profits, interviews the first recipient of this award, The Boutin Family, July 2020. — EH Stafford, Managing Editor

At this difficult time …

The non-profit organizations in the Lake Norman region have been struggling to keep up with the overwhelming number of people who need help during this COVID-19 crisis.

Individuals have stepped up to help

There are many families, restaurants, and businesses reaching out to help others. The Boutin Family came immediately to mind for their work in helping children, the homeless and hungry in our community.

The Boutin Family

Chris and Ansley Boutin and their eleven year old daughter Julia have been instrumental in helping families in the Cornelius area that are in need of toys, food, and shelter. View the interview with Margi Kyle below.
