LKNConnect is proud to be a part of the 2020 Christmas Ugly Sweater Contest. Margi Kyle, our director of non-profits, is also the founder of Little Smiles NC. Little Smiles helps children with cancer find something to “put a smile” on their faces. We will be posting entries into the contest daily, please vote for your favorite ugly sweater! — EH Stafford, Managing Editor

Whitney and Sam Ketner and Meghan and Nate Brown have hosted the Christmas Ugly Sweater Party for the past 9 years to raise money for Little Smiles NC. This year was going to be the greatest 10th anniversary party and they were hoping to raise $10,000. Unfortunately, it cannot be held due to COVID restrictions this year.
Whitney and Meghan are the owners of Carmazone and 77Auto.
LKNConnect will be helping them this year by “hosting” the contest online on our website.
Email your photo to [email protected] with your name, phone number, and the person in the photo’s name if it is not yourself.
The winner will be announced here at LKNConnectCommunity.com on Sunday, December 20th. The photo with the most votes will be declared the winner and that person will receive a gift certificate for Dinner for Two at Dresslers Restaurant in Birkdale Village. (A $200 value.)

The last day to enter is Wednesday, December 16th. Voting will start Sunday, November 29th with the publication of the photos page and end at 8:30 pm on December 23rd. Winner will be announced on December 24th.

For over 45 years, Margi Kyle, “The Color Doctor”, has built an astounding portfolio from the ever-important ‘Designer’s perspective’. Never idle, this Professional Interior Designer has contributed to this industry as an Interior Designer, Television Host, Mentor, Keynote Speaker, Educator, and Writer. Margi has Taught Interior Design of over 45 years and is the executive director for We Make Color Easy, The Dewey Color System. As well as one of the founders of a new E-Mentoring Co-op Company called DesignVisions2020.com.
