Having been a Professional Member of CMG (Color Marketing Group) and a Color Forecaster for over 25 years. I love to follow the Color Trends. I go to Pantone.com and they post every year the forecasted colors.

I was a member because I am an Interior Designer and worked for a Paint color Company in Toronto, Para Paints. It is currently Sherwin William. All the Paint, Wall Fashion, Flooring, Fabrics, anything in the Fashion and Furnishing Industry that has color is a member of CMG.

We meet twice a year for both Residential and Commercial Industries. We have to come with 7-12 new colors that have never been in the CMG System before. Along with a Trend to back the colors. Color Directions start in the Home Furnishing Industry first and then move to Fashion. We are always 2 years ahead of our forecast and make changes as we change. Green is such a Healing, Nurturing, and Supportive color, it helps us to take care of the “Me” in all of us. Orange is all about Change! We all have changed in the Past 3 years and want to go back to feeling happy. Orange is a very realistic color. If you like the color Orange, you don’t promise to do something and then under deliver. It is a very objective color. Blue, 93% of people love and can see Blue. Blue gives you the focus to visualize. Dream. It gives you the power of mental discipline to envision a more beautiful life.

Prints are in these colors and have lots of movement. They are Fun, Fashionable, and Flattering.

Do you understand how we are feeling? And how we want to feel? If we see these colors in our home and wear them daily, we will begin to make the changes that are needed to create a more beautiful life.
