Those of us that love to go out to eat for lunch in the Lake Norman area, know that many restaurants are closed on Mondays. So if you’re hungry for something different and it happens to be Monday, check out Thai House in Cornelius for lunch!
Thai House’s lunch specials list is long and full of variety. The portion sizes are just right for lunchtime and most every meal starts with hot soup, which was especially welcome on this rainy Monday!
One of my favorite delights here is their tea. It is served in a teapot with a teacup that is large enough to hold comfortably in your hand. The amount is large enough to last for your entire meal.
Every time I’ve been to Thai House, I’ve noticed a brisk business in carry-out, delivery meals. They have a nice setup for them that is out of the way of the dine-in guests, but makes it easy for the delivery services to get in and out quickly.
The food is fresh with lots of vegetables and your choice of protein. They serve rice noodles in thin and wide styles. Both my girlfriend and I enjoyed our choices. You can choose spicier dishes with more heat, but these two dishes were nicely spiced and not hot at all.
A delicious meal in a quiet atmosphere! Thai House is also one of my favorite places for dinner too!
