Graham believes her autobiography, Finding Comfort Through the Storm connects with readers because being born and raised in Mooresville, many locals knew she endured hard times, but the book reveals the details of these events. In terms of her other books, Graham believes they appeal to readers because she believes that they are easily relatable, or they know someone who is like the characters she has developed. Graham will be featuring her book, Finding Comfort Through the Storm, at the Local Author Showcase.

In terms of her story ideas, she enjoys listening to other people’s stories, and turning them into something compelling. Gantz believes her books appeal to readers because they “take real-life problems, as well as real political and social strife, and turns them into fantastic mysteries and epic adventures.”
Gantz will be featuring her books, The Akasha Series, which includes Passage, Kindred, and Captive at the showcase.
Growing up an only child with a mom who was a teacher, entrepreneur, tennis dress designer, lawyer, author, philanthropist, and the first and only general manager of a professional football team—Sundays and books were an integral part of Author Marnie Schneider’s routine.
Schneider’s love for football runs deep. She is the granddaughter of Leonard Tose, former Owner of the Philadelphia Eagles National Football League (NFL) franchise from 1969-1985, and Founder of the Ronald McDonald House. The idea for her book series, Football Freddie and Fumble the Dog GameDay was started on a plane ride in the 1980’s.
At this point, Schneider has written 6 Football Freddie and Fumble the Dog GameDay books and has plans to write a book for each city that currently is home to an NFL franchise. While Schneider loves writing and football, she also loves giving back to others which is why she founded the Keep on Playing Foundation, which provides underprivileged children the opportunity to learn confidence, leadership, and the importance of teamwork through sports.
