Smoking Hot and Delicious!

Amber Valentine, her daughter Addison Brown, and I all decided to enjoy a delicious and healthy meal in Birkdale Village. Since our move, I have been trying not to eat fried foods and miss my smoker, and I had no room for it. Midwood Smokehouse sounded like the perfect place. I called the General Manager, Megan Cox, to ensure they could accommodate us. She and all the other employees greeted us and made us feel very welcome.

Since none of us had been there for a while, we were unsure what to order. Our server, Bonnie Allison, couldn’t have been more helpful.

We decided to let Bonnie surprise us with lots of different dishes. The first out was The Fixin’ to Chicken. It was very tasty and a great start to a fun experience. We all got a healthy taste of this delicious salad.

I love Guacamole.

It was delicious and plenty for all of us. Amber liked Megan coming out and making the “Unholy Guacamole” herself at the tableside!

Next to be served to us was the Bacon-Wrapped Jalapenos.

Amber’s favorite part of this dish is the ranch dressing. She considers herself an expert on ranch and Midwood has some of the best in the area! There was nothing left of either at the end of the meal.

The last dish to come out was the Mateo’s Taquitos.

A new addition to the menu and a table favorite for our visit.

The pickled onions added a great tang to the crunch of the tortilla and smoky well-seasoned meat filling. We will be back for more of these!

What child doesn’t love Dessert?

Addison saw the Campfire Blondie and had to have it. Plenty for all 3 of us and delicious.

**Who would not enjoy that delicious Dessert?** There is something for all ages and it was enjoyed by all.

If you have never been to Midwood Smokehouse, you are in for a real treat.

As you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted by the bar and bartender, Jackson Radford. There is a large and well-spaced dining area and an outdoor dining area when the weather is not so hot.
