If you died today, does someone know how to access your logins and passwords? Do your loved ones know if you want to be cremated or buried? Do you have a will or a trust set up? These aren’t things they teach us in school—we learn them through life.
The reality is that we need to have these conversations to be prepared. As uncomfortable as they may be, it might be easier to start here. Because I know you’re curious: How much do things cost? How can I avoid probate? Should I put my sister on my deed? Let’s tackle these questions—with a little humor along the way.
On August 6th, 2010, I experienced a profound personal tragedy that shattered my life. The sudden death of my husband, Charlie, brought not only emotional turmoil but also financial devastation. Our mission is to guide you through the uncharted course that follows your loved one’s Final Chapter. We’re here to help you turn the pages, restore hope, instill strength, and support you as you face new challenges. Ultimately, we guide you through the stages of fulfilling your loved one’s final wishes, helping you close that chapter with grace and clarity.

The only way I’ve managed to navigate this path for so long is by leaning on my (terribly dark) sense of humor. I guarantee we’ll have a drop-dead good time here at The Den, and you might even learn a thing or two about:
It’s essential to note that grief is a process your family will experience when you pass. There are seven stages of grief, and we’ll cover those as well. Start writing your final chapter now and leave the legacy you want for your family—so they can mourn and celebrate the life you lived, not be buried in the paperwork you left behind. It’s never too early to plan, but it can definitely be too late.
