The Hideaway LKN is that kind of place you’d call a hidden gem. One everyone should know about! I invited Dr. Lexi Lain to join me. I took mental notes as I learned from my dear friend that they have an impressive selection of craft beers on tap, about 15, all sorts of flavors and colors and most are local. She settled for a cool refreshing local craft that had hints of white grape juice. It sounded so exotic for beer I actually said yum after she did. Well, you know I’m sort of a martini gal, so I was sizing the place up based on how well their shaken not stirred icy liquid concoction was going to taste, smell and look. I gave the Shaker Master, Farrah, a pinky up and a nod while taking another sip simultaneously. Hey, that’s what pinkies are for! Besides, she knows pinky language, “spot on delicious!”
That’s what I sounded like trying to guess answers to the funniest game night I’ve ever had! It is more than just Bingo. It’s more than just Trivia — it’s Triv– Ingo! Every Tuesday night you can play for free. Starts at 7:30 and you can win prizes even. Plus, there are drink specials tied to the game in addition to the nightly drink specials they already offer. Some nights they are as low as $3. But every night is special here they say, and they mean it. The night I was there they offered a charcuterie board and some nights they have food from other places. It’s truly a fun place that offers something for everyone. If inside games aren’t your thing you can wander outside to their grand outdoor seating area. Super cozy and get your Jenga on with the Yard Jenga.
The weekends are loaded with good LIVE music of all sorts, and they are even open until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Seasonal events are well planned and have great attendance and if you’re interested in learning more you can check them out on their face book page where they keep you posted on everything. I know one thing, I’m going to be prepared with my pinky language, girlfriend beer knowledge and my gaming talent next time I want to sneak someplace and Hideaway. And when the fun begins, let’s pinky swear to keep my Jenga moves a secret!
