I was shopping in Mooresville between Christmas and New Year’s and to tell you the truth, I was hungry! I was at Merino Mill and decided to stop into The Barcelona for a quick lunch. It was, literally the best burger I’ve eaten in a long time, if ever!
You can pre-order online or off the menu when you arrive. I was lucky to be first in line when I was there, but whether you are first or fifth, the line moves quickly. (I LOVE their burgers, and I’ve been there many times.)
I ordered my favorite burger which comes with American cheese, caramelized onion, roasted tomato, and spicy pepper sauce (really, just enough spice to keep it delicious, but not too much). Of course, I wanted the golden crispy, yummy classic fries with it, but you can also order sweet potato fries (crispy, sweet deliciousness), truffle fries (exotic, marvelous deliciousness), baked mac & cheese (sorry, I’m sure it’s wonderful with their rotisserie chicken–but I always order a burger!!), roasted veggies (absolutely wonderful especially when dipped in the Madrid sauce), a side salad or chicken soup.
