Colin’s Back Stage Pass w/ Colin Furcht – Episode 9 – Special Guest: John Sullivan
- Colin's Back Stage Pass
I had forgotten how good their Cast Iron Corn Bread with Honey, was. They add Green Chilies and Jack and Cheddar Cheese to it, giving it a great taste. I always have the Grilled Artichokes as well. The Chef came out and said they were not good, so he didn’t buy any. Hope to have it soon and appreciated his honesty. We ordered their Double Dip with fire roasted Pepper Dip, Guacamole, Salsa with Tortilla Chips. Not much room for dinner — but we managed to do that as well.
Marlene had their Cosmos, and I brought a bottle of Red Wine for Alex and me. That is another reason I enjoy 131 Main. You can bring your own wine and there is no corking charge. Then is was time to get serious and think about what we wanted for dinner. I am not a salmon lover! However, I love their Appetizer of Smoked Salmon with aioli and toast. It is the perfect size, and the taste is outstanding.
But the Best of the Best was the Dinner Marlene ordered. Danish Baby Back Ribs with Peanut Ginger Slaw and fresh Fries. Their menu has something for everyone, and Alex ordered the Beef Special. The table got very quiet when the food came, and we all left satisfied. Eric had a Hamburger and Luke said he had eaten the best Hot Dog EVER!
