Financial Advantage w/ Douglas Marion – Fall Preparation: Back-to-School Tips
- The Financial Advantage
H2 is the perfect place to chill at the “just right” sized bar or join a friend or two for dinner and listen to great music either in the background or live on certain nights. If you’re feeling competitive they even have poker nights and music Trivia. Follow them on FB to see what’s in store each week. I happen to pop in on a Thursday night and had the pleasure of meeting Tracy Tunes, the host of their infamous Thursday Night Music Bingo! It was a quick growing crowd as trivia lovers were settling at the high tops ready for loads of fun! This was my cue to scoot to the other side and join my friend to wind down!
Tracy gave me a hug and wished me a fun night! Tonight’s intention was to just chill and catch up with my girl friend. So with red wine and my Moscow Mule on the way our chatter started with the menu. After I asked where she got those cool earrings of course! The girl talk went on as we sipped our awesome drinks and enjoyed the cozy laid back vibe that was much needed for some midweek relief!
That’s what stopped both of us in mid sentence, as a server walked past our booth to deliver that masterpiece to another table and reminded us we should order! “Did that have chicken” I think I said twice since that is one of my favorite things to order here. Tonight I was feeling a bit like seafood so I ordered the Bourbon glazed salmon with brussel sprouts and my friend went for the burger minus the bun. What’s unexpected is the menu here is a bit of a fusion of comfort food with a fine dining flare.. There are grilled choices, awesome salads, hearty sandwiches and burgers. You can even get Fried Spicy Cheese Curds! Like.. who has that?
As we non-stopped talked between our bites of great food and sips of our yum drinks the time flew and we agreed this was a great choice tonight. Our sweet server kept us happy and helped us bag up our packed leftovers. With hugs all around and promises to not wait so long, we agreed next time to bring our poker faces and sunglasses. Maybe we can win some money on our next foodie adventure?!
